Fenugreek & Cinnamon Vinegar

 

The seeds of the Fenugreek herb (Trigonella foenum-graecum) delay glucose absorption and enhance glucose utilization in an effect that has been described as slow and sustained. Fenugreek has also been shown to protect against ulcers, enhance immunity and has a potent anti-inflammatory activity.  Its nourishing properties make it a popular convalescence remedy. The raw unpasteurized Apple Cider Vinegar (which is rich in a variety of minerals, vitamins and trace elements) softens the hard Fenugreek seeds, releasing the mucilaginous component which produces a gel-like liquid remedy which horses (and humans!) find very palatable.
